A massive example, also knows as a mandau. The grip of staghorn, well carved with aso motifs with finely woven gripwrap. The hardwood scabbard elaborately carved and bound with rattan. The long blade engraved along the spine. First half of the 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 79cm. Minor wear, light rusting to blade. Condition III
