Mughal work, with finely-patinated elephant grips and well-wrought blade of fine black wootz damascus steel with T-back, chamfered edge and armor-piercing tip. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with braid seam intact. Early 19th century. Minor wear, scabbard tip damaged. Overall length 35.5cm. Condition III
