Description

The characteristic banati wood grip with minimal crest, coir-wrapped silver ferrule and short, handforged shandigan blade. In its hardwood scabbard, the throat well-carved with okir motifs. The whole penetrated by a .38 caliber bullet at the cutting edge. Mid-late 19th century. Scabbard with substantial losses to throat and tip. Overall length 49.7cm.
