Oromo People, a large example of characteristic form, molded in thick hide with a complex series of ridges bordered in knobs, pigmented in a deep brown and tooled overall. The reverse with semicircular grip. Latter 19th c. Slight edge warp, period repairs. Diameter 69.5cm. Condition II
