The grip of ironwood, finely carved with aso motifs with intricately-woven rattan gripwrap. The hardwood scabbard likewise carved. The blade unusually robust and chisel-edged with profiled spine. First half of the 20th century. Minor worn and losses. Overall length 61cm. Condition III
