Description
Wrought entirely of silver and finely engraved and nielloed overall with parcel gilding. The grip formed as a saber hilt with the pommel a fully-modeled hunting hound’s head with teeth bared. The robust, triple-fullered blade with bowie-style clipped tip. In its silver scabbard decorated en suite with the hilt, the finial in the form of a bird’s head. Early 20th century. Light wear. Overall length 27cm. Condition II
