Catalonian or Neapolitan work, the delicately-fluted horn grip expanding toward the pommel plate, with silver ferrule. The broad, straight, double-edged blade with well-chiseled rooster motif at the forte and double fullers. In its leather scabbard with engraved brass mounts. 18th century. Scabbard leather a working life replacement. Overall length 34cm. Condition II
