A large example, the hardwood stock with silver wire inlay and escutcheon plate, the fine quality lock well engraved with octagonal barrel retained by two large and elaborately embossed and engraved silver mounts. Retains its rare ramrod. 18th-19th century. Worn. Overall length 50cm. Condition IV
