Description
A large example with characteristic single-edged blade with chiseled motif to one side. The steel frame with white metal mounts and horn and shell grips, each set with mother of pearl lozenges and very finely inlaid with an engraved silver Zouave soldier. Mid-19th century. Worn, shell cracked, areas of pitting to blade. Overall length 42.4cm. Condition III
