With ram’s horn grips and steel pommel, the guard wrought of wootz steel. The blade long, heavy and shallowly curved, with much original active wootz pattern visible. In its wooden scabbard with velvet covering, suspension band and chape intact. Mid-18th century. As found. Overall length 90cm. Condition III
