Description
A large and uncommon example with fully-modeled Makara head grip finely carved in horn. The thick, sharp blade with chiseled scrolling at the spine, and characteristic choil at the forte. In its leather- covered wooden scabbard with silver chape, by-knife, sharpening steel and tinder pouch intact. Beginning of the 20th century. One medallion lacking. Overall length 48.8 cm. Condition II
