Description
An elegant example, the jade grip carved and set with a ruby in the pommel. The blade with faint damascus pattern visible, with panel of gold inlay to spine. The gilded mounts set with numerous colored stones, including rubies, garnets, amethysts and turquoises. 19th century. Gilding worn in spots, velvet rubbed. Overall length 24.7cm. Condition III
