Likely ceremonial, the blade with double pairs of spikes, terminating in an ox-tongue tip, with cylindrical socket. On its velvet-covered and tasseled wooden haft, spirally bound in gilt braid and brass studded. Late 19th-early 20th century. Worn overall, velvet and braid rubbed in spots. Overall length 180cm. Condition III
