Description
Wrought entirely of silver in baroque style, the silver handles finely wrought with architectural elements, terminating in stylized owl’s heads, symbol of the goddess Athena, with domed caps, each with a retaining ring. The fork and knife wrought of steel, each profiled, the fork pierced with a heart. In their scabbard wrought entirely of silver and embossed and engraved with characteristic vinework, with a lengthy (untranslated) Greek inscription to the obverse and a silver toggle to the reverse.
