With flattened scent-bottle form steel pommel and stepped, leather-covered wooden grip, the robust steel guard recurved, with profiled ring guard ecusson. The massive, unsharpened blade wrought with a flattened lenticular section and tapering gradually toward the tip. Mid-late 16th century. Minor wear overall. Overall length 113.2cm. Condition II
