A large example, the walnut stock elaborately mounted in engraved silver the butt set with a carnelian, the triggerguard inscribed, WORK OF MUHAMMAD. The lock inlaid with chiseled silver panels, the barrel retained by an engraved silver band. Wooden ramrod intact. First half of the 19th century. Worn. Overall length 48cm. Condition II
