Description
Rarely encountered, the New World steel hilt expanding slightly toward the pommel, and cut with fine spiral fluting, the knucklebow and quillon embellished with monster heads and profiling, the rounded clamshell guard embellished with radiating flutes. The long, double-edged blade of flattened hexagonal section with three short fullers at either side of the forte, retaining its full length and etched, NO ME SACQUES SIN RAZON NO ME EMBAINES SIN HONOR (DO NOT DRAW ME WITHOUT REASON DO NOT SHEATHE ME WITHOUT HONOR.)
