Qing Dynasty, with recurved brass guards and well-carved hardwood grips flattened on the interior. The broad, single-edged blades of thick section, tapering continuously to the radiused tips. In their hide scabbard with profiled edges. Latter 19th century. Minor wear, one sword with reinforcing plate added. Overall length 54.7cm. Condition III
