Description
German work, the skull well-wrought, with characteristic high comb, and peaked visor and two-lame neck guard. The large earpieces inletted at the upper edge to suit the visor, the whole embellished with studded borders and retaining portions of the rare original leather borders. Mid-16th century. Overall height 28cm. Condition II
