Description
The complex hilt finely forged of round section bars with roped decoration and engraved pommel, the wooden grip with cord wrap. The exceptionally long, double-edged blade of lenticular section, forged with a rectangular forte with a short flat to either side and central fuller. First quarter of the 17th century. Minor wear overall, guard slightly loose. Overall length 138cm. Condition III
