Description
Of steel, with raised neck and arm apertures, and bordered with brass studs, the breastplate is of considerable weight and thickness and bears a proof mark. With complete chains, tabs and lining with pocket intact. Marked AF 1779 together with various inspector’s stamps. Second half of the 19th century. Areas of rust. Overall height 41.5cm. Condition III
