Made for a datu, the banati wood grip with elaborately scrolled and pierced crest, silver ferrule woven and long, handwrought blade. In its rattan-wrapped, hardwood scabbard, the throat well-carved with okir motifs. First quarter of the 20th century. Minor wear. Minor wear. Overall length 72cm. Condition III
