Description
A massive example, with finely-carved wooden grip of characteristic form, and elegantly carved sheath set with a horn eye, the massive, handforged blade deeply bellied and chisel-edged. Retains its woven belt. Latter 19th century. Blade with areas of pitting, scabbard with minor chip, rattan bands replaced. Overall length 66.6cm. Condition II
