Description
Designed to be worn beneath the walls of a siege, thus wrought of thick plates which optimize glancing surfaces. Those which cover the cranium doubled, the visor with a pair of rectangular ocularia with rolled lower edges and a small semicircular breath, secured to the skull by a hook, the gorget well-modeled to the neck. Retains most original black surface.17th century. Well worn, upper edge of visor with slight split. Condition III
