Description
With characteristically small elephant grips and elaborate silver tangband and bolsters. The broad, single-edged recurved blade hollowground with a small stamped maker’s mark. The leather-covered wooden scabbard with elaborate binding and large well-embossed and engraved silver mounts. Late 18th-early 19th century. Wear to hilt, scabbard leather slightly shrunken. Overall length 75cm. Condition III
