The progenitor of the Afghan Khyber knife, with elephant grips and gold inlaid bolsters, the broad, pattern-welded blade with pierced and fretted reinforces. With two circular brass inlays at the forte considered indicators of high quality. Mid-18th century. Light wear overall, gold worn. Overall length 67cm. Condition IV
