Finely and authentically hand-wrapped throughout in colored geometrical motifs, with superb silver-inlaid steel mounts. The reverse with integral lining and cushion. Mid-20th century. Diameter 51cm. Condition II. Possibly made for the 500th anniversary of the Ottoman conquest of Constantinople in October 1953.
