Made in the Philippines and closely following a 16th century Spanish prototype, with steel hilt composed of a spherical pommel and grip engraved with vinework and a guard with rolled quillons and bead terminals with roping. The straight, double-edged blade with central ridge. Mid-19th century or earlier. Minor wear. Overall length 32.5cm. Condition III
