Wrought entirely of brass and lacquered black with gold decoration, comprising helmet, arms, breastplate, backplate and skirt together with undercoat. Some plates with handwritten inscriptions in French to the reverse. Middle of the 19th century. Wear and rubs throughout. Overall height of helmet 33cm. Condition III
