The hardwood stock of characteristic form, with brass buttplate, counterplate and triggerguard, with a silver escutcheon depicting a fouled anchor. With flintlock mechanism, the massive barrel with flared muzzle extensively inlaid with silver. 19th century. Minor wear, minor wear. Overall length 50cm. Condition III
