A fine example of a rarely encountered type, with characteristic profiled horn grip mounted in engraved brass, with fine single-edged fullered blade struck with maker’s marks terminating in an acute tip. In its wooden scabbard covered in engraved brass mounts en suite with the hilt. Mid-19th century. Worn overall. Overall length 59cm. Condition II
