An exceptional example, the grip of hardwood studded with silver and mounted in profiled and engraved brass. The hand-ground blade of hexagonal section and tapering to an acute tip. In its tooled leather scabbard with fluted armband set with a brass and copper ornament and pierced and engraved chape. 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 65cm. Condition III
