Comprising a well-articulated pauldron from the William Randolph Hearst Collection, purchased by him at Parke-Bernet New York, Nov 24, 1939 sale, lot 107, together with a rear gorget plate and two parts of gauntlets, one retaining four fingers. The lot 16th-17th century. All well worn. Overall height of pauldron 23 cm. Condition IV.
