Likely Spanish work, with canted horn grips and recurved brass guard, both embellished with crosshatching. The massive curved blade expanding continuously to the clipped tip, and retaining some original edge. In its leather scabbard with brass mounts. Early 19th century. Minor wear overall. Overall length 64.5cm. Condition III
