An earlier than average example of robust construction, with oval iron guard, ferrule and pommel and characteristic turned wooden grip. The broad, double-edged blade with pronounced central ridge and acute tip. In its original leather sheath with brass chape. Late 17th-early 18th century. Light overall wear. Overall length 39.5cm. Condition III
