A rarely encountered form, the grip with incised decoration, terminating in a broad, angled pommel, the profiled steel guard with rolled quillon and recurved knucklebow. The fullered blade with radiused tip, pitted at the tip. Latter 18th century. Overall length 97.8cm. Condition III
