The ironwood grip of fine and unusual form, well carved with aso motifs, with braided rattan- wrapped grip. The well-wrought blade inlaid with brass, pierced and profiled along the back edge. In its well-carved scabbard with belt. Early 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 66.5cm. Condition II
