Mughal work, the profiled, crescent-form head with flanged rectangular peen, thickly overlaid in silver and chiseled in floral and vegetal motifs. The gilded haft decorated en suite, the pommel unscrews to reveal a concealed dagger. Beginning of the 19th century. Well worn. Overall length 50cm. Condition II
