Mughal work, with fine, pale green faceted glass grip and gold inlaid bolster. The straight, single-edged blade with rare central ridge, wrought entirely of fine black wootz. In its velvet-covered wooden scabbard with gilt binding. 18th-19th century. Velvet rubbed. Overall length 27cm. Condition III
