The wooden grips with rolled pommel, the guard wrought of wootz. The fine, broad blade of shallow curvature with elegant taper toward the tip, forged of very fine Persian black wootz. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard with steel mounts. Late18th-19th century. Guard pitten, leather refreshed. Overall length 93.5cm. Condition III
