Description
The iron hilt of characteristic form, with traces of original gold inlay. The fine, long, single-edged blade with complex engraving at the expanded forte on either side involving flowering vinework, and wrought of intricately-patterned, finely contrasted wootz, with distinct yelman or back edge. In its leather-covered wooden scabbard. Hilt and scabbard worn. Overall length 86 cm. Condition IV
