Description
The close helmet of characteristic form with pronounced central ridge and pivoting bevor and visor, the visor pierced for ventilation, with rolled borders. Breastplate with central ridge and raised panels, rolled borders at the neck and arm gussets and flanged at the waist, the backplate likewise rolled at neck and arm gussets. With complete arm defenses, the pauldrons with four upper plates with rolled rims, the couters with rolled edges, the vambraces rolled at the cuff. The gauntlets articulated, with pointed cuffs, all fingers intact. Each tasset with raided panel. The cuisses wrought of four plates, the poleyns with rounded profile and expanded wings. The two-piece greaves well-modelled. The multi-lamed steel sabatons en suite. With an associated massive broadsword with leather-wrapped grip. Second quarter of the 20th century. Cleaned, some straps repaired. STAND NOT INCLUDED. Overall height 187cm. Condition II
