A rarely encountered form, the horn grip with silver ferrule, terminating in a broad, angled pommel with engraved silver mount, the profiled steel guard with rolled quillon and oval guard with knucklebow covered in filigreed silver. The fullered blade with radiused tip and back edge with brass inlay. In its wooden scabbard with silver mounts and glass gems. 19th century. Well worn overall. Overall length 93.5cm. Condition III
