Showing pronounced Ottoman influence, the hilt and scabbard mounts wrought entirely of silver, the hilt embossed and engraved in vinework and geometrical motifs, the broad, single-edged and fullered blade struck with a crescent maker’s mark and expanding to the radiused cutting tip. Latter 19th century. Overall length 95.5cm. Condition II
