A rare example, with broad blade in the traditional elephant-ear form, with raised central ridge and scrolled tip chiseled with a sun. Steel hilt with disk guards and segmented, domed pommel. Grip retains its leather wrap. Latter 18th century. Overall length 66cm. Condition II
