The well-wrought blade with back edge and temperline. In shirasaya mounts with silver habaki. Appears to be a family blade carried by a Japanese fighter pilot during WWII for committing hara kiri. Second quarter of the 20th century. Minor wear. Overall length 26.6cm. Condition III
