A rare example of Tibetan or Bhutanese workmanship, the waisted grip covered with leather, the guard and pommel of silver. The characteristic handwrought, layered blade straight, broad and single-edged. The wooden scabbard covered in leather with silver mounts en suite with the hilt. Mid 19th century. Overall length 61.6cm.
