The grip of characteristic form, carved of a rare, fibrous horn set with silver studs overall, the ferrule and guard of engraved silver. The broad, lightly-curved and fullered blade struck with stars and a British mark of a crown with the makers name partially visible beneath it. In its wooden scabbard with elaborately engraved silver mounts. 19th century. Minor wear. Overall length 96.4cm. Condition II500
