Evoking the White Demon of Ferdowsi?s SHAHNAMEH, handwrought of steel, with pronounced eyebrows, eyes and nose, with separately applied horns, mustache, nasal and top spike. Finely and extensively inlaid overall with silver in intricate geometrical patterns. Retains its camail wrought of small rings terminating in three points. First half of the 19th century. Minor wear. Overall height 32cm. Condition III
