Description
Mughal work, an earlier example than usually encountered. Finely wrought of wootz steel, the hemispherical bowl with spike finial, captured nasal bar and plume tubes, all embellished with flowering vinework in gold. Retains its camail of very fine steel rings. 17th-18th century. Minor wear. Height 45cm. Condition II
